A148 Fakenham road near Harpley and Little Massingham to close overnight for painting of white lines
A section of the A148 will be closed on several dates in a few weeks so that it can have its lines repainted.
Work is due to start on the A148 Fakenham Road, near Harpley and Little Massingham, on Tuesday, May 27, costing £242,000.
The road will be closed on a few dates while white lines are being repainted and road studs are renewed.
It will be closed overnight from 7pm to 5am from the dates of May 27 to June 2.
On June 7, it will the first surface dressing will taken place and will be closed overnight at the same times above.
The second painting will take place overnight on June 14 and on June 26, the road studs will be replaced.
A fully signed diversion route will be in operation for the duration of the works.
The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department and their contractors, Tarmac and Keir Highway Services.
