Struggle to renew driving licence frustrates West Norfolk motorist

A 72-year-old villager has expressed fears over being unable to drive after experiencing difficulties in renewing his licence during the pandemic.

Alan Reed, of Pott Row, was unable to use photo booths in local supermarkets and post offices due to such facilties currently being out of operation.

Having attempted to send a picture to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) himself, Mr Reed was told “not to submit paper applications until further notice”.
