It was a day of rubbing shoulders with celebrity chefs and learning the art of catering to a crowd for some College of West Anglia (CWA) students invited to assist with proceedings at the Sandringham Food and Drink Festival 2015.
From prepping food backstage, setting up the demonstration areas and even controlling the cameras, the students proved “a credit to the college” across the busy August weekend.
One student even tried his hand at a real life bush-tucker trial, all in the name of entertainment!
In total, eight keen-to-learn students volunteered across the weekend, with three learners working in the celebrity tent each day.
They helped with the running of five demonstrations each day.
Chef Mark Lloyd referred to the students as his “kitchen pixies” for the weekend and said they were most helpful.
