King’s Lynn Springwood High School youngsters take to the stage in 1981

Our weekly Memory Lane Schooldays feature focuses on a Springwood High School production in 1981…

Forty-five pupils from Lynn’s Springwood High School put on their own production of the epic poem Odysseus in May 1981.

The play, a dance and drama production by the school’s second year, chronicled the adventures of the Greek hero Odysseus in the course of his return home from the Trojan War.

Performed over two nights, the play was produced by Jenny Rogers, and some of the cast are pictured here during a rehearsal.
