Northern Lights spotted across West Norfolk - including in King’s Lynn, Old Hunstanton and Thornham
West Norfolk residents were amazed to see the Northern Lights illuminating the skies again last night.
Photos of the dazzling aurora borealis were captured across the borough by our readers.
Among those to spot the lights were our reporter Lucy Carter, who spotted the aurora in the skies above North Lynn, and our head of news Rebekah Chilvers, who witnessed the spectacular display from the town centre.
Meanwhile, Julie Smart captured the lights in Grimston, West Newton, and at the Coal Barn in Thornham. She said the lights were an “amazing colour”.
Others went to the coast to see the display, including photographer Bryn Ditheridge, who took some stunning images at Old Hunstanton.
The lights were also captured in Gayton by Harry Widdows.
The Met Office said that people across the UK had a chance to see the Northern Lights last night.
