Fire marshal training in King's Lynn delivered thanks to Discover King's Lynn
Discover King's Lynn is organising a fire marshal training course to teach employees what to do in an emergency.
The course is available to BID levy paying businesses and allows for up to two representatives from each firm.
Each place for the three-hour session costs £20, which has been heavily subsidised by Discover King's Lynn.
The course covers fire extinguishers and how to use them with help from a fire simulator, evacuations and the role of fire marshals and their duties.
There will be a summary of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety), and topics covered include fire risk assessment, what to do if a fire is discovered and the correct way to raise the alarm.
Individual training certificates will be issued to each company.
The course takes place at The Duke's Head Hotel, from 10am to 2.30pm on Thursday, February 6. To book visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/fire-marshal-training-2020-tickets
