Summer skateboard event in King's Lynn

A fun skateboard event will be taking place at Alive Lynnsport on Saturday.

Between 3pm and 9pm spectators and riders will be able to pay to attend the 'summer jam' at

Saturday 18 June 3pm-9pm at KASET skatepark.

Tickets will cost £7 for riders and £1 for spectators to come along and join in the vibe.

There will be loads of competitions and prizes for the highest hippy jump, best trick, longest manual, coolest outfit and more.

Sponsors have provided prizes including Triple Eight, TKC, Dwindle Distribution, Tensor, BestDayEver and Loven Skate.

With BestDayEver coming along to the event with some of their decks and T-shirts to sell.

The new fun-box ramp at this event has been constructed by Four One Four Skateparks and VIY Project, and members can give it a go at the skate jam.

All ages and abilities are welcome but must meet the usual entry requirements, ages six and up and all under 18s must always wear helmets while riding.

Participants can just turn up on the day for some summer skating fun.
