King's Lynn superheroes offer free mobility aids

Shoppers in Lynn's town centre yesterday came face to face with a couple of superheroes.

It wasn't Del-Boy and Rodney but Superman and Batman aka Saleem Syed and Ryan Watts from the British Mobility Project.

The business' goal is to provide a better life and to offer freedom by way of mobility aids for children and adults in most need.

People are able to nominate someone who may benefit from this who is registered as disabled and their aim is to provide mobility aids at least four times a year.

Saleem Syed, managing director said: "We are looking for recipients in Lynn for a complimentary mobility scooter or chair from our profit making business, that's where the profit is used.

"Last year we provided six and Kevin from Northampton will be receiving the next chair."

Mr Syed came to attention when dressed as Superman he helped apprehend a drunken man in Norwich assisting the police in the arrest, in full superhero costume.

Ryan was in training in his sales role dressed as batman and handing out leaflets to passers-by.
