Managers have worked together at Lynn Hardwick Tesco store to raise money and donate food to the town's food bank.

Tesco is donating £500 as well as 500 cans of tinned food for those who may be struggling in winter months.

The food bank has been visiting the store every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to accept donations.

Store manager Joyce Manning-Coe said: "As its coming up to winter, the food bank needs some extra help and require donations. It's important to look after our local community."

Hardwick Tesco sponsors the food bank and offer long-life goods such as tinned food and cereals all year round, but has expressed the importance of supporting food banks in the line up to Christmas when many people rely on food banks to get by.
