Charity officials in Swaffham are gearing up for the start of the town’s annual visual arts festival next week.
The festival, which will continue throughout October and early November, will begin with a 1950s and 60s fashion show at the Nicholas Hamond Academy next Friday, October 9, from 7.30pm.
The show will be followed by a textile art event on Wednesday, October 14, at 12.30pm, a photography evening on Wednesday, October 21 and a film evening on Thursday, October 29. All those events will take place at the Assembly Rooms.
The festival will then reach its conclusion at an art exhibition, beginning with a preview evening on Friday November 6, before the show opens to the public on Saturday and Sunday, November 7 and 8.
