Members of Swaffham’s Air Training Corps (ATC) branch joined fellow cadets from across the area for the annual parade marking the anniversary of the ATC’s formation on Sunday.
Youngsters from the town’s 1084 Squadron took part in the traditional procession and church service at RAF Marham alongside their colleagues from Lynn’s 42F Squadron, the 864 Squadron from Watton and the base’s 864 Detached Flight.
The event was held to mark ATC Sunday which commemorates the anniversary of the formation of the Air Training Corps on February 5, 1941.
The parade formed up near the static Victor Tanker aircraft, before marching past the station’s headquarters where the salute was taken by base commander, Group Captain Harvey Smyth.
The parade was followed by a church service, led by Rev (Flight Lieutenant) Phil Layton, which was held in the station’s chaplaincy centre.
Gp Capt Smyth addressed the congreation while cadets themselves gave prayer and bible readings.
