Swaffham's Sequin Art launches design which will boost funds for Walking With The Wounded
Swaffham firm Sequin Art has launched a new craft project for Remembrance Day which will boost funds for a veterans' charity.
For each sale on its website of the Poppies design, it will be donating £1 to the Walking With The Wounded charity.
Walking With The Wounded helps veterans through various programmes and training to start a career outside of the military.
Sequin Art has been manufacturing sparkling art projects for 32 years in its purpose-built factory and distributes them to more than 20 different countries.
The Poppies craft project was designed by Norfolk-based designers, Norman Pearce and Denise McKeating.
The craft kit comes with easy to follow instructions and features three blooming poppy flowers. It allows craft enthusiasts to create a Poppies picture using colourful sequins and pins. It is ideal for adults and children aged eight and over.
Meryl Smith, director of Sequin Art, said: “Walking With The Wounded plays an important role helping our veterans and their families build a brighter future.
"We are delighted to be supporting this fantastic charity and raise funds with our new Poppies design. The poppy flower is a symbol of remembrance and hope and is a fitting design for the Walking With The Wounded charity’s valuable work.”
The Poppies design is now available to purchase from the official Sequin Art website www.sequinart.com
