The excitement of the Grand National was brought to Swaffham on Saturday, as a charity race night raised almost £2,000 for good causes.
But, rather than head to Aintree, supporters only had to go to the town’s Assembly Rooms to savour the action, which was hosted by the town’s Lions group.
Nine races were shown during the event, which raised more than £1,900.
The money will be shared between charities supported by the Lions, who have thanked all who attended and sponsoring businesses for their support.
