A host of community groups took part in a fundraising treasure hunt around Swaffham, which was organised by the town’s Lions group in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

The hunt started from the community centre and followed a 2.6 mile course, containing 19 clues to where the treasure could be found.

The charity has been a regular beneficiary of Lions activities in memory of their former president Rod Goodwin, who died earlier this year.

The winning team was the town’s Lionesses, who only missed one of the clues.

The afternoon finished with tea and cakes back at the community centre, together with stories of missed clues.
