Members and supporters of Swaffham’s Methodist Church began their Hymnathon campaign on Wednesday morning to raise funds for vital repairs.

The congregation plans to sing each of the 748 songs in its hymnbook during daily services to take place throughout Lent.

All proceeds will go to the Pinnacle appeal, which aims to raise around £160,000 towards a new roof and internal refurbishments of the site.
