Five days of floral delights have been on offer to visitors to one West Norfolk village church this week.
More than 30 displays have been dazzling crowds at St Mary’s Church in Syderstone during its annual flower festival, which closed on Wednesday.
The festival, which has been staged for around 10 years, is a key fundraiser for the church and receives the backing of many local businesses, who sponsored some of the 31 displays.
Betty Wells, who is one of the event’s organisers, said the number of displays in this year’s festival was up slightly on previous years.
She said the event had been well attended throughout the week and was particularly pleased that around 40 people had come into the church on the penultimate day on Tuesday.
The total amount raised during the festival is not yet known.
