Taal-Rasa-Bhava Dance Academy students perform in RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Eight dancers from the Taal-Rasa-Bhava Dance Academy, who are also Springwood High School students, have rubbed shoulders with the stars at the Chelsea Flower Show.
The family-run team behind The Iron Garden, in Sherborne, supported the Lynn-based dance academy as they entertained audiences with a classical Indian dance routines.
Iron Garden marketing director Harry Thompson said: “Chelsea has a reputation for being the flagship RHS show, with inspirational show gardens and using alternative methods to catch the media’s eye.”
The Lynn-based dance academy students wowed celebrities such as Ben Fogle, James Martin and David Walliams, pictured above, with their routines.
They also made headlines in The Asian Age, with “Chelsea Flower Show: Students showcase Indian culture through dance in five-day fest”.
Mr Thompson added: "We couldn't have imagined our Chelsea adventure getting off to such a magnificent start.
"Winning Gold for a second consecutive year running as a wonderful surprise.
"But we couldn't have done this without the Taal-Rasa-Bhava Dance Academy.
"We are very grateful to the headteacher Mr Johnson from Springwood High School in letting the girls experience such a marvellous opportunity."
