Take a look inside Hunstanton Lavender Chase development which opened show homes last weekend
Doors are opening at a 60-home development in a coastal town this weekend, giving potential housebuyers the chance to look around show homes.
Lavender Chase, a Lovell development in Hunstanton, opened up to members of the public and has shared pictures of one of its show homes.
Andy Richardson, director at Edward Thomas Interiors, said: “Hunstanton is one of Norfolk’s most popular seaside towns so we deliberately crafted the show home to appeal to homeowners from all stages of life, from young families to downsizers and retirees.
“The overall style has a quintessentially English feel, with bold botanical prints and ditsy florals. Taking inspiration from the development’s name, shades of lavender and plum can be found throughout the home, including a charming lavender patterned wallpaper in the downstairs cloakroom.
“In the living room and main bedroom, we’ve designed two feature walls with wallpaper applied to wood panels.
“This is an evolution of the panelling trend that has dominated this year and something we expect to see more of in 2025.
“Another trend for next year is the use of curves and waves to present a softer aesthetic. House hunters can spot this in Puttenham through some of our light fitting, mirror and furniture choices.”
There is also a four-bedroom Ashdown show home, designed by Norwich-based interior designers, Homestagers.
The show homes are open every Thursday to Monday between 10am and 5pm.
Lovell has 48 open market homes, as well as first homes and local affordable homes.
