Taste of hotel life for West Norfolk village school pupils

Pupils from a West Norfolk village school have been given a taste of life in the hospitality trade.

Year six youngsters from the Burnham Market Primary School, pictured above with senior teacher Timothy Fisher, paid a visit to the village’s Hoste Arms this week.

The trip, which took place on Tuesday, not only marked the end of their time at the school, but was also part of their current project on the sector which is also linked to the Imagined Land programme looking at the history of Burnham Norton.

More than 100 people attended a discovery day on the project, which was held at the school at the weekend.
