Officials from the Swaffham Royal Naval Association branch have thanked supporters after hundreds of pounds were raised during two recent events.
The group made £452.80 during a collection earlier this month to mark Trafalgar Day.
And a further £94.60 was raised during a coffee morning held at the town’s Barclays Bank branch.
The cash raised will be donated to naval and service charities, plus other local organisations, at the group’s annual general meeting.
The branch’s honorary secretary, Jill Bowers, has praised the Lynn Sea Cadets for their assistance, describing them as “a credit to their unit.”
She added: “We would like to thank everyone who supported us on the day and made this total possible.”
