Cheese and Bees opens in Walpole St Andrew

Customers with a sweet tooth and those with a penchant for savouries will have all their tastebuds tickled at a shop which has just opened in Marshland.

Cheese and Bees is a new business venture for husband and wife Pete and Bev Davies who have taken over a unit at Samuels, in Market Lane, Walpole St Andrew.

Pete is a beekeeper who has been making his own brand of honey for about 15 years. “And I also happen to like cheese,” he said.

The idea of opening a shop selling both products goes back to a time when there was once a popular cheese shop at Wingland.
