The Sky is the limit for Snettisham bike company
On Saturday, Open Sky Cycles are holding a demo day to celebrate their partnership with Bivi Bikes, a British custom cycle band who hand craft every bike.
Based at Wild Ken Hill, in Snettisham, Open Sky Cycles are an independent bike and cycle repair shop who have been open for just over one year, offering meticulous service and repairs as well as a quality selection of cycles and accessories and service plans.
The new partnership with Bivi Bikes will see the Open Sky Cycles team hand build every bike ordered, customised uniquely to each users’ needs.
Open Sky Cycles are also building a community around the shop with regular social rides and offer great freshly ground coffee at the shop, the perfect fuel to continue riding around the glorious West Norfolk countryside.
Fraser Barsby, from Bivi Bikes, said: "Since Bivi’s launch two years ago, the crazy world in which we live in has meant our customers could only buy online based on a promise, backed up by the reviews across the industry that we make some of the most radical, engaging and fun bikes to ride on the planet.
"And we're pleased to say not one of our customers has disagreed.
"It has always been our dream to give riders the chance to experience our brand hands on, to touch and feel the steel and discover the nature of our bikes first hand before spending their hard earned cash."
Howard Cholerton from Open Sky Cycles said: "Open Sky Cycles are delighted to offer a hub for riders to come along and test ride the complete range of bikes and products as Bivi continues to innovate and rejuvenate the joy and pure excitement of cycling with their retro inspired rides.
"All orders online will be fulfilled by our skilled team and we are also on hand to discuss custom builds.
"The shop is beautifully located on the Wild Ken Hill estate in rural Norfolk and is surrounded by trails, so visitors can get a proper test ride.
"On Saturday, we are hosting a Demo day where people can come and see the bikes for themselves, take them on a test ride or join us for a group ride around this stunning area.
"There will be free hot drinks and cakes available with donations going to Tapping House, a local hospice offering palliative care."
The demo day is from 10am-4pm and everyone is welcome to come along, find out more and even ride the bikes.
There will be guided gravel rides on the day at 10.30am and 1.30pm, bike packing demonstrations and the chance to meet the designer and creator of Bivi Bikes.
Designed and hand built in Britain by a small team with over 35 years of experience, Bivi bikes come in three customisable frames, each designed to suit the individual ride, and can all be switched, modified and moulded to the specifications of the rider.
A mark of the quality, each frame comes with a lifetime guarantee.
The teams from both Bivi Bikes and Open Sky Cycles look forward to welcoming everyone to their store on the Ken Hill Estate on the day.
