Thieves have stolen four canoes from Lynn air cadets.

Members of 42F (King’s Lynn) Squadron have been dealt a blow after the kayaks were stolen from Leziate Park over the weekend.

Thieves had removed the boats’ carrying handles through which locked chains had been passed to secure them to the trailer unit. The theft was discovered on Sunday.

The squadron owns six kayaks.

Along with the Robson Moonster kayaks, thieves took five paddles and four red and black Kallister life preservers.
Cadets were about to experience this water sport for the first time and is a body blow to the squadron’s summer outdoor activities programme.
