Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital has been thinking outside of the box in getting people to donate to the Trust’s Charitable Fund.

You can now “tap to donate” on the Charities new multicoloured wall situated in the hospitals main entrance.

The donation box facility gives people the opportunity to make a £3 donation and is compatible with Credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay on IOS and Android devices.

Professor Steve Barnett, chairman at the QEH, said: “We are delighted to unveil our Tap to Donate wall which utilises contactless technology to make it easier for people to donate to the Trust’s Charitable Fund.

“The money raised will enable us to keep delivering projects and services which will further improve patient experience at the QEH.”

With many people carrying less cash and using fewer cheques since the Covid-19 pandemic, many charities have introduced contactless devices to continue to raise money.
