Three people arrested in connection with six separate thefts of tools from vans in Friars area of King’s Lynn




Police investigating a number of thefts from vehicles in Lynn have arrested three people.

Officers were alerted after equipment was stolen from vans around the Friars area in Lynn, including Carmelite Terrace and Whitefriars Terrace, overnight between Saturday and Tuesday.

A man in his 20s, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 30s were arrested in connection with six separate thefts around the area. Items like tools, a laptop and a purse were taken.

They were taken to Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning and have been released on conditional bail until January 2025.

Following the thefts, police reminded people to make sure they are taking steps to keep their vehicles secure, by keeping them locked, not having anything on show inside and leaving their keys safe inside their homes.
