Three taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash at A149 junction at Heacham




Three people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash at Heacham yesterday.

Police were called to reports of the crash at the junction with the A149 at 4.53pm.

Officers said the road was blocked and the vehicles had been recovered by around 7pm.

A police spokesperson said three people were taken to hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.

Firefighters from Heacham and Hunstanton attended the scene on Manor Road at around 4.57pm, and rescued people from the vehicles and also made the scene safe.

The East of England Ambulance Service sent three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer vehicle to the scene.

A spokesperson said: “Two people were taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further care.”
