Three weeks with no new coronavirus deaths in West Norfolk and King's Lynn despite over 300 per cent increase in hospital admissions





Lynn and West Norfolk have continued with a no death streak after covid figures revealed that despite a rise in cases there have been no new deaths in the area.

Data from the last three weeks has shown that there has been a whopping 300 per cent increase in the virus and 34 patients have gone into the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and there is one patient on a mechanical ventilator.

The patients in hospital were admitted between June 13 and June 21.

The vaccination programme continues in West Norfolk with a high uptake of first doses.

123,332 people had been given a first dose by the end of June 23.

118,565 people had been given a second dose by the end of June 23.

99,639 people had been given a booster or third dose by the end of June 23.
