West Norfolk looks set for another soaking later today as a weather warning has been extended to include this part of the world.

Rain is predicted this afternoon and there is expected to be thunder and lightening from about 3pm onwards.

The warning says to expect heavy showers, thunderstorms and torrential downpours that may cause some flooding and travel disruption.

Temperatures will be low for the time of year at just 17C for some of the day, but West Norfolk should not have the high winds suffered further east on the coast and across the west of Britain .

The heavy rain follows Wednesday's deluge across Norfolk which saw some localised flooding.

Tomorrow is currently predicted to be much better with sunshine and showers - good news for the many events planned for the weekend, including the Hanseatic Festival of Watersport on the Quay at Lynn.
