High demand for Tulips for Tapping tickets near Sandringham - be quick and get yours
Tickets for the popular Tulips for Tapping event were selling fast this morning (Monday).
Within a short time of the 10am sale opening, Norfolk Tulips posted on Facebook that all weekend availability had been snapped up but there was still some Thursday and Friday slots.
The post also said the “extremely high demand” meant the ticketing system was working slower than normal and several people had commented they were going through the buying process but the site had crashed.
Tickets are being issued in 45 minute slots and three late evenings have been added to this year’s event which opens to the public on Thursday, April 24.
Last year, tickets were sold out in just over an hour of being released allowing more than 25,000 visitors from near and far to admire the stunning sight of the colourful acres of tulips.
Tulips for Tapping raises money for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary of providing free, compassionate care to those with life-limiting illnesses and support for their families.
2025 will see 32 acres open just off the A148 close to the Sandringham Estate but the exact location of the fields is never revealed until tickets are purchased.
