Terrington St Clement shows generosity

A care home in Terrington St Clement caring for patients, including those with dementia, has experienced the generosity of villagers.

The local school and football club have made efforts to support the residents by making a donation and by delivering presents.

"We also have received presents from the pupils at Terrington St Clement high school.

"The school donated a present for each resident and the football club donated a large hamper and some plants."

"The donations were delivered by the school children on the Dec 16."

A statement on the Terrington Tigers FC facebook page says: "Terrington Tigers are showing what Terrington means to us.

"We at Tigers decided to show our appreciation to the older generations that reside in our amazing village.

"Under 16 coach Andy Bly kindly donated an M&S hamper and two beautiful plants that were given from Terrington Tigers to the residents.

"Due to the Covid restrictions in place we were unable to give the gifts directly to the residents, however two members of staff kindly received them on the residents behalf.

Terrington Tigers players Joe Bly and Aaron Coddrington also attended on behalf of the club.
