The Titchwell Marsh RSPB nature reserve has been accredited with a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
The reserve is a hub for local wildlife: its lagoons and reedbeds play host to a plethora of native birds from the familiar ducks and geese to the more curious breeds such as bitterns and marsh harriers.
Carrie Carey, Titchwell’s visitor experience manager, said: “I am thrilled that we have achieved this award for the second year running. It is a true testament to the staff and volunteers who work hard all year round and I hope that, as the site continues to flourish, more people are encouraged to come along and experience British wildlife at its core.”
Titchwell Marsh reserve is accessible all-year-round. The visitor centre and shop are open daily 9:30am-5pm, and the café is open from 9:30am-4:40pm. Activities, talks and walks are held frequently during the summer, but booking is advised. For more information call 01485 210779 or visit www.rspb.org.uk/titchwellmarsh.
