Swaffham Town Clerk posts images of toilet vandalism that is now under investigation by forensics

Swaffham's Town Clerk Richard Bishop posted to social media after significant damage to the public toilets in town.

The toilets, which are now closed, have been vandalised in "four incidents".

One will be opened for the market in Swaffham tomorrow while the others undergo repairs.

Mr Bishop said on Twitter: "Sorry we have closed the public toilets this week, we’ve had 4 incidents of vandalism.

"One toilet will be re-opened for the market tomorrow, the other will be repaired ASAP.

"Police forensics and CCTV are reviewing, but if you have any information please phone 101."

The images show extensive damage to the ceiling and alcohol bottles strewn across the floor.

One Twitter user reposted the images saying: "Scum what’s wrong with people these days and have to vandalise toilets."
