Road now clear from Outwell to Elme Hall after earlier accident

UPDATE: Traffic is now running freely on the A1101 and A47 after delays caused by an accident earlier in the day.

PREVIOUSLY: Emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision on the A1101 at Emneth.

King's Lynn Police, the East of England Air Ambulance, Norfolk & Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team and fire crews from Cambridgeshire and Norfolk are in attendance.

The road is currently blocked for the foreseeable future from Outwell to the Elme Hall roundabout.

There are currently delays of nine minutes and on the A47 eastbound between Chapel Lane and the A1101 Elm High Road with traffic going at an average of 10mph.

Delays are increasing and police are advising to avoid the area.
