The festive feeling has officially begun in Lynn after the town’s Christmas tree was put up.
Standing more than 35 feet high, the tree now takes pride of place in Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place.
And it will not be long now until it’s adorned with decorations and lights, ready for the big switch-on.
The popular event will take place on Sunday November 22, at 4.30pm.
Among the dignitaries for the switch-one will be West Norfolk deputy mayor and majoress David and Linda Whitby, stars from the Robin Hood pantomime, taking place across the road at the Corn Exchange and KL.FM DJs.
It will be the first time that the Lynn switch-on has taken place during a weekend.
Organisers hope changing it to a weekend switch-on instead of a Thursday night will make it more convenient for the West Norfolk public.
