Tumultuous painting by West Norfolk artist

In their fortnightly Picture This column, staff at Lynn Museum focus on a painting...

In this tumultuous painting, titled the Wreck of ‘The Glory’, we see a ship being tossed by the waves during a storm.

The oil on canvas was painted by local Victorian artist Henry Baines (1823-1894).
