AJ and Curtis Pritchard give Thursford Christmas Spectacular ‘10 out of 10’ after visit to festive show near Fakenham

A former Strictly Come Dancing professional and his Love Island star brother said a festive show in Norfolk was “outstanding” after they visited last week.

AJ and Curtis Pritchard were in the audience for the opening performance of Thursford Christmas Spectacular on Wednesday.

The brothers, who both have a dancing background, posted about their visit to Thursford and said: “If this doesn’t get you in the Christmas Spirit I don’t know what will!

“The Thursford Christmas Spectacular was outstanding 10/10… Well worth the journey and more.”

Curtis, who placed fourth on Love Island with Maura Higgins in 2019 and has recently starred in Love Island Games, also commented: “Christmas is officially here… Loved every second of the show… Great opening night.”

AJ was a professional dancer on Strictly between 2016 and 2019, before becoming a campmate on I’m A Celebrity! Get Me Out of Here in 2020.

The brothers also made their acting debuts when they made a brief appearance as devious twins Marco and Jacob on Hollyoaks in 2021.

After their visit to Thursford and watching the three-hour festive variety show on Wednesday, the brothers met the cast and the Cushing family, who have been behind the spectacular since it began in 1977.

A spokesperson for Thursford said: “AJ and Curtis really took the time to talk to our audience, staff and cast after the show and spoke very highly of this year’s Christmas Spectacular.

“Highlighting everything from the staging, cast, costumes, and production – they said they loved the show and would return.

“It was great to host them on our opening performance, and we hope to see them back at Thursford again soon.”
