Two arrested after playground equipment destroyed in Gayton

Two youths have been arrested on suspicion of arson after playground equipment was destroyed in Gayton on Saturday.

King's Lynn Police said, on Twitter yesterday evening, that the local policing team and the response team had worked together to arrest the two youths.

They said the value of the damage to the playground equipment on Orchard Road was about £1,000.

A fire crew had been called to extinguish the blaze at about 7.30pm on Saturday.
