Two charged over unlicensed music event near Swaffham
Two men are due to appear in court next month charged in connection with a suspected unlicensed music event, which was held near Swaffham at the weekend.
Police say officers were called to a site on the A1065 near South Pickenham shortly after 11pm on Saturday night where the event was reported to be taking place.
Music equipment was seized from the site and two arrests were made.
Norfolk Police said a short time ago that Richard Burrows, 51, of Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge, and Malcolm Pitcher, 50, of Green Lane, Wymondham, had both been charged with carrying on an unauthorised licensable activity in relation to the incident.
The pair are due to appear before magistrates in Lynn on April 29.
They have both been bailed until that date.
