Holkham and National Trust's Oxburgh estates closed today amid high winds in Norfolk

Two country estates in Norfolk have closed today as high winds are battering the county.

Holkham and the National Trust's Oxburgh estates are shut, after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for wind, with gusts expected to reach up to 65mph between 10am and 6pm.

Holkham announced yesterday that it would be shutting Holkham Park, the Courtyard Cafe and Gift Shop, Lady Anne's Drive car park and The Lookout today due to the forecast.
