Two held after doves and dog stolen in Norfolk village burglary

A man and a woman are being questioned this lunchtime after a dog and several doves were stolen in a burglary last night.

Police say the birds and a Border Collie dog were taken from farm outbuildings at an address in Hockwold at around 8.30pm.

The dog has now been recovered, a Norfolk Police spokesman said a short time ago.

A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s, both from the Ipswich area, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

They are currently being held at the Police Investigation Centre in Bury St Edmunds.
