LEARN MORETwo people have made a first appearance in court in Lynn over serious physical offences against a child.
Luke Rees, 24, and Rebecca Willgress, 27, each face the same two charges – grievous bodily harm with intent and causing or allowing a child to suffer serious physical harm.
The offences are said to have happened at Lynn more than four years ago – on or before March 27, 2017.
Magistrates were told on Thursday that the boy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No indication of pleas was given and the case was sent to Norwich Crown Court for a hearing on October 28.
Rees, of Meadowgate Lane, Elm, and Willgress, of Langham Road, Field Dalling, were granted unconditional bail.
A court order was made preventing the identification of the child.
