King's Lynn firms join forces to support healthier business practice

Two firms based in Lynn have joined forces to work more closely together to support healthier business practice.

Occupational health specialist Cavell & Lind, located at North Lynn Business Village, Bergen Way, has entered into an agreement with Human Capital Department, which offers HR services to businesses and is based at KLIC.

The agreement, a Memorandum of Understanding, has been drawn up to offer a link between health and people management and development services for clients.

Both companies offer services which support health and best people management practice. Cavell & Lind provide occupational health services, while Human Capital Department provides a people management and development consultancy, encouraging firms to adopt best HR practices which support a healthy workforce and profitable and sustainable business.

Peter Lawrence, director of Human Capital Department said: “Sometimes employers contact us needing advice relating to a problem employee – for example, the employee may be off work, and medical prognosis is needed.

"We can now refer quickly to Cavell & Lind as the occupational health specialist, for advice and support. On the other hand, clients may have recurring employee issues, indicating deficiencies in people management processes and systems.

"Human Capital Department can help; our free health-check questionnaire will identify areas of non-compliance, or where people practices need to be improved."

"Our aim of working more closely together, is to dovetail services, so that clients will enjoy a more seamless experience, and health issues are resolved efficiently."
