Two men to face trial following police discovery of two cannabis farms in West Bilney and Gooderstone with thousands of plants




Two cannabis farms with thousands of plants have been discovered by police over the weekend - leading them to charge two people in connection with running them.

The first farm was found at an address off The Street in Gooderstone on Saturday, the second on Sunday near Main Road, West Bilney.

Thousands of plants are in the process of being seized from both addresses as well as growing equipment.

Four men were arrested over the weekend and taken to Lynn’s Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

This led to two of those men, Luido Disha, 21, of no fixed address and Riza Shehu, 19, of Shearwater Road, Hemel Hempstead, being charged with one count of production of cannabis.

They were remanded in custody by police to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning.

They were further remanded in custody for trial and are due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on January 13.

The two other men arrested have both been bailed pending further enquiries until the new year.
