Two patients with coronavirus die at King's Lynn hospital

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn today announced its first fatalities from patients who have tested positive for Covid-19 since Saturday.

Chief executive Caroline Shaw issued a statement this afternoon saying: “The deaths of two of our patients, who had tested positive for Covid-19, have been confirmed today – a man in his 80s and a man in his 70s. Our thoughts and condolences are with their families at this difficult time.”

That takes the total number of people who have died with coronavirus at the QEH to 145.
