Two dead following crash between Range Rover Vogue and Renault Kadjar on B1108 Watton Road at Hilborough

Two people in their 60s have died after a two-vehicle crash yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to the B1108 Watton Road in Hilborough at 1.22pm on Sunday, after a black Range Rover Vogue collided with a grey Renault Kadjar.

Both the driver and the passenger of the Renault, a man and woman both in their 60s, died at the scene.

The driver of the Range Rover, a man in his 70s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries, where he remains.

The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene, including an ambulance, air ambulance and firefighters.

It later reopened at around 9.40pm.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have any relevant dashcam footage.
