Norwich Road in Fakenham closed after two-vehicle crash

Two people suffered injuries following a crash in Fakenham yesterday.

Norwich Road was blocked for nearly four hours following the two-vehicle collision, which occurred close to the junction with The Drift.

Police were called to the scene at 4.50pm, with paramedics also attending and treating the two people involved who had suffered minor injuries.

Fire crews helped to remove one of them from their vehicle using hydraulic rescue equipment.

The road was shut off while the vehicles were recovered, and subsequently reopened at around 8.20pm.
