Three taken to hospital following Tilney All Saints fight on Glebe Estate, after vehicle crashes into house and two seen with axes




A vehicle crashed into a house and two people were armed with axes in a brawl which left three people needing hospital treatment last night.

Police have shared more details of the fight involving multiple people in Tilney All Saints' Glebe Estate, which they were called to at about 8pm after reports a vehicle had crashed into a property.

Officers received a further call shortly afterwards, reporting the altercation involving a number of people, two of whom were believed to have been in possession of axes.

A vehicle caught fire as a result of the incident.

Emergency services attended the scene and three people, one man and two women, were taken to Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

The two women have since been discharged and the man remains in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A Norfolk Police spokesperson said: "Police can confirm that those involved were known to one another and it is believed that there is no threat to the wider public."
