Two arrested in connection with a burglary at Iceni Academy in Methwold which caused more than £10,000 worth of damages





Two people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with a school break-in in Methwold over the weekend.

The teenage boys were arrested on Monday evening and taken to Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning. They were bailed pending further enquiries later that night, until January 14.

The arrests follow a break-in at Iceni Academy on Stoke Road between 6.30pm on Friday and 10.30am on Sunday where the perpetrators smashed 15 windows and two doors.

They then damaged walls, floors, and equipment inside the building, causing more than £10,000 worth of damage.

Any witnesses who may have information have been asked to get in touch with Norfolk Police quoting crime reference 36/83660/23.
