LEARN MOREMajor roadworks are set to close a busy West Norfolk road for two weeks next month.
More than £200,000 is set to be spent on repairing a stretch of the A1101 in Upwell during a project scheduled to start on June 4.
The work will cover the section from the junction with Tipps End Road southwards to a point around 400 metres north of Welney House Farm.
Norfolk County Council says: "During the reconstruction of the carriageway it will be necessary to pulverise the existing road surface and therefore the road will remain closed to all through traffic except for residents."
A diversion route will be in place via the A10 and A1122 for the duration of the works.
