UPDATE - Teenage girl dies in lorry crash at West Lexham

A girl has died and a woman is critically ill in hospital following a collision with a lorry this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the A1065 at West Lexham, near Swaffham, at around 9.20am this morning following reports that two pedestrians were in collision with a white lorry.

Police confirmed a short time ago that a teenage girl was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. She is said to be in a critical but stable condition.
